Interaction between people

When I was at my old school. Everybody seemed very nice and everybody seemed to get along more or less. But now that I'm in this school, everything is weird. People are mean and rude. I introduced myself to one girl and she said I don't care. Nobody wants to meet you. Nobody cares about how you are or how nice you are. They are just all defensive and it's really hard to fit in. I just want nice friends. How hard is that? Ah the drama.
